TLS-RPT Checker
Check if your TLS Reporting (TLS-RPT) record is configured correctly
About TLS-RPT
TLS-RPT (TLS Reporting) is a standard that enables reporting of TLS connectivity problems experienced by applications. For email, it helps identify delivery issues caused by TLS failures.
How TLS-RPT Works
- You publish a TLS-RPT record in your domain's DNS
- Sending mail servers attempt to deliver email via TLS
- If TLS connection fails, the sending server generates a report
- Reports are sent to the email address specified in your TLS-RPT record
- You receive daily summaries of TLS connection issues
TLS-RPT Record Format
- v (version)
- Must be "TLSRPTv1" (required)
- rua (reporting addresses)
- Email address(es) to receive TLS failure reports (required)
Best Practice: Use TLS-RPT together with MTA-STS for comprehensive email security monitoring and enforcement.
