TLS-RPT Checker

Check if your TLS Reporting (TLS-RPT) record is configured correctly

About TLS-RPT

TLS-RPT (TLS Reporting) is a standard that enables reporting of TLS connectivity problems experienced by applications. For email, it helps identify delivery issues caused by TLS failures.

How TLS-RPT Works

  1. You publish a TLS-RPT record in your domain's DNS
  2. Sending mail servers attempt to deliver email via TLS
  3. If TLS connection fails, the sending server generates a report
  4. Reports are sent to the email address specified in your TLS-RPT record
  5. You receive daily summaries of TLS connection issues

TLS-RPT Record Format

v (version)
Must be "TLSRPTv1" (required)
rua (reporting addresses)
Email address(es) to receive TLS failure reports (required)
Best Practice: Use TLS-RPT together with MTA-STS for comprehensive email security monitoring and enforcement.
