What is BIMI?

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) is an email specification that enables organizations to display their brand logo alongside authenticated messages in supported email clients. It builds on existing email authentication standards like DMARC, SPF, and DKIM.

How BIMI Works

  1. Your domain must have a DMARC policy set to "quarantine" or "reject"
  2. Create an SVG Tiny PS logo and host it on a public HTTPS URL
  3. Optionally obtain a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) for trademark protection
  4. Publish a BIMI TXT record in your DNS
  5. Supported email clients will display your logo next to authenticated emails
